28 multi-storey buildings in the village of Luch in the Shevchenkivska community of Mykolaiv region were damaged by the fighting. They are riddled with ammunition fragments, most of the windows are missing, the roofs have been demolished, and there are direct hits to the apartments. This information was reported by a NikVesti correspondent.
Before the full-scale war started, almost a thousand people lived in the village. Now residents are gradually returning to Luch. Local residents recall how they had to hide in basements from shelling.
Thanks to the "Restoration of Southern Ukraine" charitable foundation and German benefactors, the roof of the house was restored. The materials were provided by the organization "Dream of Action". The work lasted three weeks, after which the restored roof became a symbol of hope and optimism for the residents of Luch, who do not lose faith in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and are restoring order at their entrances.
